After Soft Rains, the third session for Exposure Therapy, emanates like cold light from a telecommunication device. Reminiscent of Ray Bradbury’s dystopian lyricism and Alan Lamb’s haunting field recordings, onewayness & Simon Bridgestock evoke an antiquated vision in slow-motion, the spectral image of curtains floating in moonlit eruption at 60 hz. Tattered, worn-out material flickers in the cathode tube, as loose as dew-laden gossamer through broken glass.

onewayness is Adam Holquist, a composer, musician, sound designer, and multi-media creator from Erie, Pennsylvania. He uses guitars, pianos, analog and digital synthesis, spoken word and field recordings, and a variety of hardware and software tools to create atmospheric and textural music which draws influence from ambient, drone, minimalism, post-rock, and vintage and contemporary electronic 'listening music'.

Simon Bridgestock is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist from Canterbury, United Kingdom. He has worked in a wide variety of musical contexts that encompass Jazz, Psyche-Rock, Electronica and more, usually with a focus on using improvisation to generate ideas. Recent years have seen Simon explore the aesthetics of hauntology and retrofuturism, both sonically and visually and how past memories skew and inform our present.
